I had a DUI conviction. How do I go about getting insurance now?

I received a 4-year suspension for a DUI conviction expiring Feb. 2nd 2010. At that time, I had a G2 Licence, so I am taking a G1 license on Feb. 2nd 2010. I have tried to get insurance on my vehicle, a 1994 Toyota Celica 2DR but was turned down. I would be happy if you could furnish me with information on how to go about with this.
