Question

What is the point of saving my last year’s quote if I have to fill out all the same info again?

Why should I save my last year’s quote if I have to fill out all the same info again? What is the point?

If you have saved your previous quote details you can log in to view them on My Saved Quotes using your reference number, or the email address and password you used to register.

(*If you have problems viewing your saved information, and you are sure you have a My Saved Quotes account, please let us know and we will contact someone on the Kanetix technical team to look into your issue.)

Once logged in to your My Saved Quotes account, you will be able to view your saved quote, as well as email your quote, review your quote, or delete your quote as well. If you click on any of these options, you will first see a pop up message asking that you confirm the information you entered previously, in order to review your quote. By clicking ‘yes’, you will be able to see the saved information for your saved quote and adjust it as necessary. Your quotes will then be recalculated so your rates are accurate and up-to-date.

It’s important that you update your saved details before viewing your quotes. The quote you were provided a year ago will probably differ today.

Some information you might need to change in your My Saved Quotes account may include but isn’t limited to:

    • any additional drivers being added to your policy
    • a dropped driving ticket
    • modifying the vehicle, if you’ve recently purchased a new car
    • adding a new alarm system
    • requesting a quote that includes the multi-line discount (where you insure both your home and auto with the same provider

Updating your quote information doesn’t mean you will have to re-enter everything. Information such as your name, your age, the date you received your license etc. probably won’t need to change.
