Can you restart your lapsed policy if it has been terminated?

Can you renew or start your lapsed policy back up if it has been terminated?

    According to the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association site (http://www.clhia.ca/e7_2.htm) yes, it is possible to reinstate your policy if it has been terminated for non-payment within two years on a payment of overdue premiums. This payment will also include interest, and you’ll have to submit satisfactory medical evidence to reinstate the policy.
