The vast majority of condo insurance policies do not cover flood, they will only cover sewer back up, which is slightly different. If the maintenance problem caused a sewer back up then your policy would cover you and your insurance company could subrogate against (sue) the landlord for negligence.
More likely, if this is a maintenance issue surrounding plumbing in general and it caused flooding, then your policy would not normally cover you but you could sue your landlord for the damage, and the liability coverage under their insurance policy would respond.
Either way, your landlord’s insurance will likely get involved because they are liable for maintenance and the problems that arise if they are negligent. Hopefully none of this is necessary and the landlord simply pays for the damage out of pocket.
